MP3 Lock 'Em Up

MP3, 26m30s, 36.4MB, first broadcast 18 June 2008

Paul talks to David Fraser, in NZ as a guest of the Sensible Sentencing Trust, David is the author of "A Land Fit For Criminals". He says NZ is gripped by a left-wing anti-prison ideology that is failing to keep it's citizens safe. His solution? Put offenders in prison for longer. No, they won't be any more criminalised while incarcerated, and no, their socio-economic background had nothing to do with their becoming criminals in the first place.
