Square Eyes: 100 NZ Films
Fresh off the printing thingy is Awa Press' latest entry in the "100 esstential" series, 100 Esstential NZ Films written by Hamish McDouall.

NZonscreen entry for Gregor Nicholas, the director of Avondale Dogs. Hamish argues it's one of our best short films and I'd agree.
On short that should have been included, in my opinion, is French Doors directed by Steve Ayson. It can be found on youtube here. Watch it with the lights turned off.
