MP3 Seeded Ep 10: Lee Prebble

MP3, 33m42s, 30.9MB, first broadcast 3 July 2010

In this episode of Seeded, Lee Prebble -- Tui award-winning engineer/producer of The Phoenix Foundation and The Black Seeds -- reveals that his first musical obsession was the psychedelically-inclined Britpop output of The Stone Roses and (The) Verve; and that as much as he is in love with sounds, it is songs and music which inspire him. He is also one of those New Zealanders whose Dad was a fan of French synthesiser composer Jean Michel Jarre’s Oxygene’ LP; and rates the Los Lobos spin-off group Latin Playboys as impetus for playing in a group again. Method + Vibe = Excellence.
