Well heck, fans of baroque pop weirdness are in a whole of luck. Not only has Julia Holter just released a thoroughly mind melting new album, but she's finally coming down to New Zealand, performing with her full band.
Also, not to stress the point too much, but her new album is really, really good. It's called 'Aviary' and, at times, it totally sounds like it. Exactly what you'd hope for from someone who's worked with people Laurel Halo, Linda Perhacs, Nite Jewel, and bloody Jean-Michel bloody Jarre.
