For Waitangi Day we teamed up with our friends at VICE to host a panel discussion at Golden Dawn to talk about what Waitangi Day means in 2017. The panel was moderated by Liam Ratana and featured Khylee Quince (law academic), Precious Clark (managing director Maurea Consulting) and Sam Te Kani (artist). They hashed out their thoughts on Te Tiriti o Waitangi - its meaning, difficulties and relevance.
"For me it’s legacy-based. It’s intergenerational. Seven generations have been engaged in this dialogue, and it’s tiring."
